Karl Wallenda, Lijana’s great grandfather, famously said, “Life is on the wire. Everything else is waiting.” At a very young age that become true for Lijana. Ever since she can remember she could walk a wire. She grew up watching her parents perform on the high wire and soon it became her passion like the generations before her. Lijana has taken her love of performing to the next level. She continues to thrill audiences walking a slender cable high atop skyscrapers but she has also developed her keynote speaking skills and loves to combine the two. Lijana isn’t simply put “a daredevil” seeking thrills. Rather, she does this to honor the generations that came before her and she seeks to inspire people with her feats of daring. She is a phoenix rising from the ashes and hopes to move people that they can rise from their “ashes” too.
